Infernite is the name for the fiery magical metal-ceramic hybrid that the elementals known as Blazes make their bodies with. It naturally produces heat via magical processes. If part of a blaze, the creature can replenish its body by consuming lava or other flammables, but if left unchecked, it will gradually evaporate. Its volatility, brittleness and limited availability means it’s less than useful in long-range locomotives (where coal and other traditional fuels still rule supreme), but for short-range trains, automated trains, and stationary boilers, it’s perfect.
